Imagine a place that pulls you out of the clutches of your stressful urban life. An environment designed not just to shelter you but to provide you with a locus that helps you grow and connect with nature and the elements that constitute us. With a design that is detail-oriented, our 4-bedroom home is nestled in the picturesque village of Vijayapura about 60 minutes from Whitefield towards the North of Bangalore, a house where your family can escape into the green.

The design Intent and Idea

Our vision is clear: to craft homes that serve as personal retreats while fostering a greater sense of community. Each residence in this forest enclave seamlessly blends private and communal spaces, providing you with a sanctuary that is also part of a thriving, interconnected neighborhood. The 4-bedroom home, encompassing 4500 sqft, is set on a 3300 sq.ft plot, with generous space allocated for common amenities such as farming areas, forests, and clubhouses.

What is the need for such a community?

The motivation behind this design stems from a deep commitment to both human well-being and environmental sustainability. In today's fast-paced world, finding a balance between these two elements is crucial. Our homes are designed to be linear garden homes, ensuring that each resident has direct access to nature right at their doorstep. This approach not only enhances mental and physical health but also promotes a sense of community and shared responsibility towards the environment.

Home Organization: A Focus on User Experience

The organization of the home is centered around usability and comfort. Upon entering, you're welcomed into a large double-height living space, flooded with natural light from strategically placed openings and windows. This open-plan area features a seating area on the right and a dining and kitchen area on the left, seamlessly extending into a garden courtyard. Additionally, there is a secondary living room that connects to the main living area through sliding and folding doors, creating one large space. This room can be further transformed into a bedroom at night and includes its own dressing area and bathroom. The connection to nature is a recurring theme throughout the house, with large windows offering garden and forest views from every room.

As you ascend the stairs to the first floor, you'll encounter seating benches at various intervals, offering unique perspectives of the double-height living room. The first floor features a long flower bed, flanked by windows on the north and south sides of the double-height space. It includes two bedrooms, each with en-suite dressing areas, bathrooms, and open-to-sky showers, situated on the eastern and western sides of the floor. Both bedrooms boast private balconies with stunning forest views. Notably, the master bedroom is distinguished by a bay window overlooking the central courtyard, creating a seamless connection within the volume. The second floor houses a spacious master bedroom on the western end and a terrace on the eastern end.

Nature at the Heart of Organo's Design

Nature is not just an afterthought in our design; it is the core of the architectural journey at Organo. The garden courtyard at the heart of the home serves as a green lung, offering a tranquil space for relaxation and socialization. Large windows and open spaces ensure that every room is bathed in natural light and offers views of the surrounding greenery, fostering a deep connection with the environment. Tree-lined avenues and pedestrian streets further enhance this bond, creating a lush Indian landscape experience that promotes outdoor living and community interaction.

Green Roofs: Reclaiming Nature's Footprint

A standout feature of the homes is the integration of green roofs, which embody our commitment to giving back the footprint lost due to construction. By creating living roofs, we reintroduce vegetation that construction activities might have displaced, effectively restoring a piece of the natural landscape. These green roofs are not merely aesthetic additions; they serve as functional ecosystems that support biodiversity, providing habitats for various plant and animal species. The vegetation on the roofs absorbs sunlight, reducing heat transfer into the building and thereby decreasing the need for artificial cooling.

Moreover, green roofs offer significant environmental benefits. They act as natural air purifiers, filtering pollutants and producing oxygen, contributing to improved air quality. By absorbing rainfall, green roofs manage stormwater runoff, alleviating the burden on urban drainage systems and reducing the risk of flooding. The insulation provided by these green spaces also helps to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures, reducing energy consumption and lowering carbon emissions. Through the innovative use of green roofs, Organo is not just building homes but creating sustainable living environments that harmonize with nature and enhance the well-being of its residents.

The Benefits for Families

Purchasing a home in this community provides numerous advantages for families. The design encourages a healthy lifestyle by promoting outdoor activities and fostering interaction with nature. Shared amenities such as farming areas and clubhouses offer ample opportunities for community engagement and shared experiences. Being close to nature instills a sense of peace and well-being, making this an ideal environment for raising children and creating lasting memories.

Additionally, the strategic location near Vijayapura, with excellent connectivity to Bangalore via the upcoming Hosakote Satellite Ring Road, ensures that while you enjoy a serene, rural setting, the conveniences of the city are always within reach. The thoughtful design and sustainable features of the homes make them not only a place to live but also a valuable investment with a high potential for appreciation.

Conclusion: A Home That Nurtures Life

In conclusion, our 4-bedroom home in the Vijayapura is more than just a residence; it's a holistic living experience designed to nurture both people and the planet. By combining innovative architectural solutions with a deep respect for nature, we've created a community where families can thrive, connect, and grow. This is not just a home; it's a legacy of sustainability and well-being for future generations.
