Congratulations on the purchase of your Rurban home! What next? There are some important steps and decisions in terms of Home Interiors that you need to make. Let’s deep dive and understand the what and the why.

1.Civil Changes: You would’ve seen the unit plans and model home prior to purchase. But, there may be minor additional requirements that are specific to your family needs. Meet with our Studio Team members to nail down the requested civil (blockwork level) changes. They will study your requirements, evaluate the possibility, recommend a solution, and advise on any cost/time/functionality implications. On your review and approval of the proposed solution, they will send you a payment request. Once the payment is complete, they will issue construction instructions to the site engineering team. They will also keep you posted on the progress through Project Status Report.

2.Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Changes: You will be given standard MEP drawings for your review and approval. If you have any requests for additional points for power supply, lights, taps, you can jot them down and share it with the Studio Team. They will study your requirements, evaluate the possibilities, recommend a solution, and advise on any cost/time/functionality implications. On your review and approval of the proposed solution, they will send you a payment request. Once the payment is complete, they will issue construction instructions to the site engineering team. They will also keep you posted on the progress through Project Status Report.

While construction and above changes (if any) are being executed on site, you will be requested to make a decision on 2 paths. The intent here is to help families make a decision on how much they would like to personalise their Rurban home. 

Path 1) Interior Design (ID) plus Interior Contracting (IC) Services : Here you can decide to have our ID Team personalize the look, feel and style of your home. This ID service includes user interviews, design style research, ID concept proposal, 3D visualizations of key spaces, and associated budget. On approval of the design and budget, they will send you a payment request. Once the payment is complete, they will prepare and issue Good for Construction (GFC) drawings to the site engineering team for executions. They will also invite you periodically for site reviews and approvals, where necessary. They will also keep you posted on the progress through Project Status Report. 

Path 2) Interior Contracting (IC) Services : Here you can choose to replicate the look, feel and style of the model home, but with variations on a select set of material palette. For instance, you may choose to upgrade the flooring or wardrobe finishes or kitchen cabinetry, etc . This ID team will share the various palettes available for your selection. Once you have selected the finishes, they will send you a payment request. Once the payment is complete, they will prepare and issue Good for Construction (GFC) drawings to the site engineering team for executions. They will also keep you posted on the progress through Project Status Report. They will also invite you periodically for site reviews and approvals, where necessary. Kindly note that Interior Design services are not included in this path.

On completion of building construction and fit-out, the home is handed over to you for furnishing (sofas, beds, curtains, wall art, etc). We are even exploring the options for Interior Styling (selection and purchase of all home furnishings) and Front & Backyard Set-up (garden design and set-up support).
